Automatically Supplied Data

Some data is supplied automatically to warn the consumer that something out of the ordinary applies.

Automatically supplied fields may not be requested with the fields parameter.

The personal data is no longer maintained

If maintenance of a person's personal data has been stopped, the field opschortingBijhouding with reden and datum is always supplied. The BRP API supplies only five reasons for suspension: overleden (deceased), emigratie (emigration), ministerieel besluit (ministerial decision — NATO military personnel), RNI (does not live in the Netherlands) and onbekend (unknown). One or more requested fields are under investigation

If one or more requested fields are under investigation, the corresponding inOnderzoek and datumIngangOnderzoek fields are always supplied.

Where one or more fields from which an information product is derived are under investigation (for example the adressering fields), the information product is under investigation as well, and the inOnderzoek field of the information product is supplied.

Person no longer resides at the address

When you request the residence data or address lines of a person for whom it has been established during an investigation that they no longer reside at the registered address, the field indicatieVastgesteldVerblijftNietOpAdres is supplied with the value true.

The field indicatieVastgesteldVerblijftNietOpAdres can occur in verblijfplaats and in adressering.

Person has “geheimhoudingPersoonsgegevens”

For persons who have asked for their data not to be shared with churches or other organizations to which a municipality may give personal data (a sports club or a charity, for example), geheimhoudingPersoonsgegevens (confidentiality of personal data) is supplied automatically. RNI participant

For persons registered in the RNI, the data on the rniDeelnemer (RNI participant) with omschrijvingVerdrag and categorie is supplied automatically. Participants are designated administrative bodies that are authorized to register persons or to supply data for the RNI. Read more about the rules for supplying the RNI participant.

RNI verification data

For persons registered in the RNI, the verificatie (verification) of the data recorded, with datum and omschrijving, is always supplied. Read more about the rules for supplying the verification.
